Sharon (Hogan)
Husmann ('83)
Sharon (Hogan) Husmann, of O'Fallon, Mo., is in her 22nd year as
a special education teacher at North Middle School in the Ft. Zumwalt School
District. Sharon grew up in North County in St. Louis, Mo., and is a 1983
graduate of Truman State University, where she earned a bachelor of science
degree in education. While at Truman, she was a member of the Alpha Sigma
Tau social sorority, Phi Lambda Chi Little Sister Organization, Student
National Education Association, and Student Council for Exceptional
Children. Sharon was a 1979 Alumna Scholarship recipient. Sharon's mother,
Shirley (Leber) Hogan, a 1956 graduate, was a music education major and
served as the first president of Delta Zeta, a social sorority. Sharon went
on to earn a master of arts in educational processes from Maryville
University in 1987.
Sharon and her husband, Greg, a senior project manager for Alberici Constructors, Inc., reside in O’Fallon, with their two daughters, Julie and Colleen, and they also have a second residence in Alexandria, Va., close to her husband’s current project.
In her spare time, Sharon enjoys decorating and designs locker hooked rugs, enjoys. She is a varsity soccer mom and the committed owner of two rescue dogs, Finnuala and Seamus.
