Stacey (George) Sifton ('00)
A
2000 graduate of Truman State University, Stacey works as a securities law
compliance attorney for Edward Jones at its St. Louis headquarters. In addition
to her continued support of Truman State University, Stacey serves on the board
of the International Institute of St. Louis, where she helps immigrants and
refugees learn English and obtain citizenship. She is also active in her
church.
While at Truman, Stacey
majored in business administration, served as Student Senate president and sang
in both the Franklin Street Singers and the Cantoria ensemble. As a French
minor, Stacey studied abroad in Angers and Cholet, France. Her honor fraternity
memberships included Omnicron Delta Kappa (leadership), Beta Gamma Sigma
(Business), and Pi Delta Phi (French). She worked in public service internships
on Capital Hill in Washington, D.C., for her Congressman and in Topeka for the
Kansas Secretary of State. She attended law school at the University of Kansas,
where she was a finalist in the Foulston and Siefkin Moot Court Competition.
