The Kansas City Alumni Chapter invites alumni and friends to participate in the chapter's 8th Annual Golf and Scholarship Tournament at Adams Pointe Golf Club, 1601 R.D. Mize Rd., Blue Springs, Mo. (http://www.adamspointegolfclub.com/).  REGISTRATION FEE: Pre-register a team of four by April 25 for only $380 or $100 per golfer for registrations made after April 25.  Lunch, golfer gift, cart and range balls provided. The Chicago Alumni Chapter invites Truman alumni, friends, students and parents to the chapter's annual Freshman Send-off event at Lombard Community Center, 433 East St. Charles Rd., Lombard, Ill. (located at the corner of Grace Street and St. Charles Road, just south of the train tracks); 10 a.m.-Noon.  The chapter will be welcoming incoming Truman freshmen from the Chicago area and help them prepare for college. Complimentary refreshments and door prizes.  You can also enjoy the activities offered on the grounds of the Lombard Community Center: Moran Water Park, tennis, basketball, or a nine-hole Frisbee golf course. Truman State University: 1988 Football Reunion
This year marks the 20th anniversary of the 1988 Bulldog Football team's conference championship, and team members and their guests are invited to the 1988 Bulldog Football Team Reunion hosted by the Truman Alumni Association and the Truman Athletics Office. The day-long celebration begins with a team luncheon in the Student Union Building and remarks from Bulldog Football Coach Shannon Currier.  Following lunch, there will be a tour of the athletic facilities, meet and greet with the current Bulldog Football Team and a campus tour.  At the football game in Stokes Stadium, reunion attendees and their guests will have reserved seating in the President’s section, and the team will be recognized on the field during the halftime program.  Arrive early on Friday and attend the Friday afternoon football practice at Stokes Stadium from 3:30-5 p.m. Advance registration requested.  To RSVP for this event, contact Denise Smith, director of alumni relations, (800) 452-6678, (660) 785-4133, alumnievents@truman.edu.
