Curing Finals-Week Blues
During
finals week in December, LeAnn Yantis and Jim Bergman ('90) helped
ease the tension of last-minute studying by passing out 400 finals-week
treat bags in Pickler Memorial Library. As students left the library,
weary from studying, their spirits rose when they were handed treat
bags filled with items to help them through their finals, including
candy bars, pop tarts, gum, a coupon for a free soda in the Mainstreet
Market, and a Truman note pad, all courtesy of the Alumni Association.

Pizza
Party for December Graduates
Many smiling faces filled with anticipation could be seen in the Student
Union on Dec. 11, 1998. The Alumni Association invited all Truman students
graduating in December to a Pizza Party in the Governor's Room to celebrate
their impending graduation. Approximately 150 soon-to-be graduates dropped
by the celebration. In addition to free pizza, each student received
a mouse pad as a graduation gift to welcome them as members of the Alumni
Association.
