10th Annual Bulldog Classic Golf Tournament: Over 40 golfers enjoyed
some friendly competition during the golf tournament. |
Winning Float: Phi Lambda Chi fraternity and Alpha Phi sorority
won the float competition during this year's Homecoming Parade.
Student Union's 30th Anniversary: Madelene Sykes (wife of the
first Student Union director, Kenny Sykes) with guest Mary Haskins ('79)
(first student manager of the Student Union) met at the Alumni and Friends
Celebration. The Student Union celebrated its 30th Anniversary. Pictures
depicting the history of the Student Union were on display during Homecoming
Week.
All-Alumni Mixer: The Phi Mu Alpha Dance Band provided musical
entertainment early in the evening during the All-Alumni Mixer held at Days
Inn. |
Dancers of all ages enjoyed the sounds of the '50s and '60s
band, The Spectors.
